charming atmosphere, beautiful fireplace, excellent nearby cafe
Two large dogs roaming through common areas, strong sewer smell in the room, inadequate locking mechanism on doors!!! These elements detracted from what could have been a enjoyable stay!!!

Sincerely, it was a fantastic stay for 1 night. We had a guest room with an individual safe, central heating, and a work desk. The location was great and unbeatable, to many eateries! Cafe Jervis la Mariscal located 1 km away was a nice surprise. The breakfast was great especially the coffee and bakery.

The charming atmosphere made our visit nice, though
The room was a bit small for two people. The staff were genuinely friendly and provided great assistance, especially with organizing a taxi. We loved the eco-friendly filtered water service and the beautiful little garden where we spotted some lovely birds.

The personnel was great. Very helpful and always ready to help you with everything. The ambiance is great, it is very nice. The rooms are very clean and beautiful. I fully recommend this hotel to travelers to Quito.
The hotel is top - if anything than I would say that the rooms are rather warm, but not disturbing.

The personal in the hotel were excellent. La Rabida is very boutique with only 11 rooms. The day manager, Gloria, gives all of her guests close personal attention, was extremely helpful in arranging my tours and travel arrangements. Carlos, the night manager, also was excellent. The restuarant was more than adequate, and the continental breakfast very convienent. The living room with beautiful fireplace was quaint and lovely, with cozy wood fire every evening. Great for sipping a glass of wine before dinner.

We loved this hotel, a real boutique oasis of calm in a bustling city.
We had a room at the top of the stairs above the living room and it was very noisy.

The hotel was a wonderful place; every staff member spoke English and was extremely nice and helpful. The lounge area was very nice, the rooms were clean and lovely, the staff got us all our taxis and reservations, kept our luggage while we went to the Galapagos. It was perfect for us and we are already recommending it to friends who will be going to the Galapagos.

15 minutes from the airport. Staff gave us correct wake up calls and had a taxi waiting for us as we requested. Loved the rabbit. Stayed twice within 4 days. Had supper the first time and it was good.
Second room was small but adequate. We were just sleeping there that night. Televisions in the rooms were very small.
